sometimes i feel so alive it just about breaks my heart

I want to be an academic specializing in H.D., but instead I work on a farmstead dairy. I love squids, architecture, and human bones. I’m also passionate about dialogical pedagogy, the biology of psychology, and the social justice aspect of public health. Poetry is my religion.

I’m going back to school this fall, my garden is full of life-giving lettuces, and I’m aching for new books to read (and old ones to re-read). Authors on my current list include: Susan Stanford Friedman, Ian Hacking, Robert Sapolsky, RD Laing, and Joseph Campbell. Yum.
